it turns out that the cable internet has free installation but doesn’t come with a free modem, which is $8O
but verizon fios [which is better service in general and much faster internet speeds] is only three dollars more, has free installation AND comes with a free modem

ahhh just sent my mom an email asking to get new internet service and i’m super nervous
like, my internet is barely functional [and i mean that in… it doesn’t function at all a lot of the time. more time is spent restarting the router and waiting for it to reconnect than is spent actually being online these days] and it SUCKS, especially for the amount of money we [my mom] pays....
