To those that have been pulling the privilege card against vegans recently. I don’t agree with all this. But check your human privilege. Yes it’s a class issue and the underprivileged are in the lower class but the animals are in the lowest class, remember that.
Sorry but if anything this just makes me angry, this is so full of assumptions and arrogance it makes me physically angry. He obviously does not understand what we he is talking about in regards to class or ableism at all.
Seriously Luke, you could form a way better argument than this, why would you put this on a pedestal? It is the same lack of understanding I see all the fucking time.
I will take this post and debunk all the bullshit when I have the time to do so but for now, please use your heads and understand that this guy has little to no idea what it means to struggle to eat.Oh I agree, I was explicitly not putting it on a pedestal by saying I don’t agree with it all. But I wanted to bring it back up because I’m still struggling with keeping privilege vs. ableism in mind when I advocate for animal liberation. I just didn’t really gain any understanding from your previous response because you were talking more about ableism and I was talking more just about the moral logic of veganism as an ideal, not really as a “who-cares-how-poor-you-are” requirement. I was hoping you’d respond again so I look forward to what you have to say :)
Yussss I definitely will, I just know you to have a better understanding of these things than this guy does so I was like “what!!!”. But yeah I am just getting some writing done right now before I go for dinner. I will probably just write an essay on the subject instead of just attacking this post.

an issue that hits really close to home for this individual right here whose decision to be vegan and fight for animals was one of the most important things of my entire fucking life
who’s been unemployed and living off of whatever the fuck food she can get for the last year and a half
